At ROADS Brooklyn Charter School, teachers build and nurture strong relationships with students and hold them to high expectations.
We believe that every student can achieve academic, professional, and personal success with the right structure and support.
Like all ROADS schools our students will develop an Individual Life Plan (ILP) to goal set and monitor performance throughout their high school career. Students also participate in ROADS to Success Engagement Pathways:
- College Prep – The College Prep Pathway is designed to engage students who have the desire to attain a college degree.
- Arts & Athletics – The Arts & Athletics pathway is for artists and athletes interested in developing the skills necessary to ensure a foundation in their desired field.
- 21st Century Workforce – The 21st Century Workforce pathway is a job readiness program focused on individuals who are interested in pursuing a career immediately after high school, and preparing students with the 21st century workforce skills.
- Vocational Pathway – The vocational program is focused on training students in various professions.
The school also offers students the opportunity to join the work-study program, the Summer of Service program, and a host of after school clubs and sports teams.
ROADS Brooklyn Charter School also believes in exposing students to the world outside of our community by taking students on academic field trips, college trips, expeditionary learning experiences, and service learning trips.
